Border Building Consultants Pty Ltd. was formed in January 2007 by director Brian Irvin, and has quickly established itself as a well regarded Building Consultancy firm specialising in the domestic field.
With over 20 years experience within the Building Industry, Brian is a fully qualified and licenced Building Consultant, Licenced Builder, Accredited Private Certifier and Building Surveyor. After gaining extensive experience in the home building industry, both in construction and building consultancy fields, Brian decided to venture out and establish his own consultancy firm, with the view of providing accurate, user friendly reports combined with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Brian has an Associate Diploma in Applied Science, Building (TAFE) and a Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying (University of Western Sydney), and is one of the most highly qualified building consultants in the region. He has extensive experience in the home building industry, both in construction and building consultancy fields.
Having completed over 2,000 Pre Purchase Building Inspections, Brian can help identify issues with the property, both minor and major, and give accurate recommendations, so an informed assessment of the property can be made, giving either peace of mind or the cold hard facts to nervous purchasers.
Customer Service
We are totally committed to providing excellent customer service. It is important for us to know that we have not only conducted the inspection and prepared the report, but have delivered accurate and easy to understand information about the property, enabling the potential purchaser to make a very informed decision about the property.
We have a unique approach to customer service – We are “Available!!!”. Some inspectors are often cranky, unapproachable and don’t like answering questions – Not Us!!! We:
- Welcome potential purchasers along during our inspections to explain any arising issues first hand.
- Are happy to answer questions about the property, even after hours – shock, horror!!!
- Are independent. Even though many real estate agents recommend us, we are independent and unbiased. They know that we have a job to do, and are required to identify the issues arising with the property.
